Lord Malcolm Bowman,
Navigator

Lord Malcolm Bowman, Navigator of the Cloven-Nemesis, got bored. He had become a merchant of the staple, and split his time between his small estate in New Sarum (Salisbury) and London. His father had also been a wool merchant, and had acquired lands in Scotland, where he met Malcolm's mother. They fell in love, married, and had returned to England, where Malcolm was born and raised.

When in London, Malcolm became the student of a Master of Defense, and began to learn swordplay. When he wasn't selling his wares, or practicing with his rapier, he would catch the plays of William Shakespeare and others in The Rose or The Globe. Yet still Malcolm felt a yearning for some other adventure. While partaking of some finer brews in the tavern of his friend, Don Lyev Davidovitch, Malcolm would often listen to the tales of his friend the sea captain, Lord John Michael Thorpe, Captain of the Golden Rose. Malcolm found himself longing for voyages upon the sea, and began to study charts and maps.

In his daily routine, Malcolm eventually met Captain Ronan. They found they had much in common, in especial a love of swordplay, and cloven objects. Captain Ronan told Malcolm of his new ship, and that he was still seeking crew. At last finding an outlet for his craving of adventure, Malcolm volunteered, and was made Navigator of the Nemesis.

Our Navigator is a very busy man. He is the registrar of the East Kingdom League of Rapier Academies, as well as a Captain within the League. He is also Marshall of Fence for the Shire of Rusted Woodlands, an Eastern Archery marshall-at-large, singer, occasional dance master, and sometimes middle-eastern drummer. The Navigator has also been inducted into the Order of the Silver Crescent, the Eastern service award. There is never an event where you won't find Malcolm being a herald, a marshall, or one of the people simply making the event happen.

Our Navigator is also the Don of the Myrkfaelinn Clove Mafia (if there IS any such thing) Or so they say. Malcolm certainly isn't known for passing Cloven Lemon Hedgehogs or cloved Death Stars!
